If you have an LLC or another entity that is registered with the Secretary of State, you MAY BE required to complete the *new* Beneficial Ownership Interest Report from the Federal Government. Below are links to a letter explaining the report and a “dummy” form so you can see what you will need to fill out.
This report must be filed electronically – online with their system – using the link below. We will be happy to submit this report on your behalf. As of right now, this report is a one-and-done item. It needs to be completed by the end of 2024, and then it will not need to be done again UNLESS you are updating something about your entity. If that changes, we will be in touch with all of our clients to whom this report pertains.
